It's gonna be 2007 and the start of a new year in just one day!

I start infant care in 3 days time!! Just met my teacher and school this morning and it seems... hmmm.. i m still sizing up the place so let me tell you if it is a nice place or not after my "orientation" ok!

It's Yee Ma's BDAY in 4 days time!!! Mommy wonders what she should get...

Mom's going back to work on 18th January!!!

Christmas Eve :)

Went for Christmas eve service on Sunday and after a mad dash to J8 to buy Timmy and Pheobe some pressies, we went home whereby I proceeded to be a little cranky in the afternoon coz I was really looking forward to seeing this Gor Gor and Jie Jie in the evening for dinner @ Grandma and Grandpa Fong's home! ;p

Eve of Christmas eve

It's the eve of Christmas eve!! The eve of the night before the birth of Jesus Christ!! Maybe its not the real date that Christ was born but He indeed came to the earth and saved us from our sins! :)

Although I am too young to truly understand what this really means, all I know is because of God's love, I am God's!! Coz mommy was reading to me the day before yesterday from the daily devotional for kids which is called Jesus Wants All of Me which is based on a classic devotional by Oswald Chambers..

The devotional goes like this:

My everything for God

" I am God's. My heart is His heart. My mind is His mind. My eyes will look for Him. My ears will listen for His voice. My hands will do His will. I am God's!"

How am I gonna celebrate Christmas?? Well, daddy and mommy are gonna bring me for Christmas service in church and then we are gonna have lunchie with Gong Gong, Yee Ma, Yee Cheong and Timmy Gor Gor!!!

Then I am going home to zzzzzz whilst my parents are gonna check out the latest Singtel video on demand thingy which daddy opted for a free trial!! As if they are not oredy couch potatoes, now got movies to watch until March for freee! Piangzzz..

Anyways, its time for my milk feed now.. Yummmmy... So tata for now! ;)

The pain I endured.. :(

Turned out that I didn't just go for my 6-in-1 jab!!! I oso had 2 other vaccinations!!! One was called Rotavirus (something to reduce the risk of bad diarrhoea) and the other was the Pneumococcal vac which was super duper PAINFUL!!! Thanks to the sudden decision by dad and mom @ the clinic!

The first one wasn't so bad.. I just cried and stopped after a bit.. But the Pneumo one was soooo terrible my face turned red from the crying and even the pacifier couldn't calm me down immediately!!! I had one handyplast on each thigh after the jabs... So pooor thing rite me, so little then need to endure this kinda torture!!!

And as if this is not enough, I have to go through this torture another 2 more times!!! Each @ 2 months interval.. I m definitely not looking forward to it... But momma says I do not have a choice as I will be exposed to babies and kiddos @ infant care so prevention is better than cure??

Haiz.. I just pray that February will come reaaaaaaaalllyyy Sloooooooowly... ;p

The Rotavirus was quite alright.. The nice doctor just syringed it into my mouth slowly and it tasted really yummy and sweet.. I was happily sucking away.. kekeke.. too bad though it is only one more dose compared to the painful ones...

Now, why can't all vaccinations be like that? :)

So much renovation going on!!!

Wat issit with the Christmas season? Seems like many people are getting ready for Christmas, New Year and Chinese New Year all rolled into one!!!

That means noisy noisy day times cause the house behind us is doing massive re-tiling of the floor and it is soooo sooooo noisy... Mom tinks that its because of this my nap times are totally out of whack!! But seriously I can sleep through them if I want to.. I just love my mommy or daddy to carry me and now that I can see more clearly, everything is just so exciting!! How can I sleep when there are so many things to see right??

Its also minor reno works @ my place now coz of my dear mom's doggy!! Why lar?? Coz grandpa has been pretty pissed off with Patches lately and it got to the point where he decided to make a play area for the grandkiddos and we can store our toys there without them getting mauled off by the silly dog... ;p How cool can that be rite? OOPs.. i mean the play area is cool! MUAHAHAHAHA

Tomoro my furniture is arriving!! (Sounds like a lot but its only a cupboard and small bedside shelf!!)...And I get to shift to the new room on Saturday!! YIPPPEEEE... That means no more snoring from daddy!!

Other updates :

1) I got to go take my 6-in-1 jab this afternoon! Wonder if it's gonna be painful???
2) I start infant care on 3rd Jan 2007!!!
3) Patches may haf to undergo doggy obedience training next year!!! (Any in house trainers to recommend??)

Home Sweet HOME!

After spending a week @ Yee Ma's place, I am finally back home today!!!

My bedroom is finally done up, save furniture to be bought.. Mommy and daddy are gonna bring me to Ikea on Sunday for shopping!!! Just hope it will not be too crowded or I mite get a little cranky with all the distractions and noise!!!

I can't wait to move to my new room after being crammed up with Mommy and Daddy but Mom says no entrance to the room for a week or 2 at least to get the paint and dust settled first!!! Haiz.... I just got to be patient then. :)

Hi hi!!!

I have been staying @ Yee Ma's house this week and will probably be here till Friday!!!

Why huh? Coz mom says that grandpa and grandma are getting my bedroom done up so to avoid the dust and noise whilst the contractors are doing it up, I have to stay @ Yee Ma's!!

Its been fun here!!! I have been gallivanting around town with mom and Yee Ma! Although today's shopping trip @ Raffles City was cut short to a lunch and quick haagen daz ice cream for Yee Ma coz I was really really sleepy and it was pretty noisy and bright... So yeah I made a bit of noise!!! HEEEEEEE (mom says tomoro i got to stay @ home liao.. Darn!!)

Mommy : But I may bring him out for evening stroll mah.. ;p

Yup I have been really enjoying myself... And Timmy has been sooooo nice to me wor.. He gives me lotsa kisses and pets and Mom also enjoys playing with him whilst I m sleeping...

The only downside is I dun get to see my daddy so often.. Like tonite lor... He has to stay home and do some cleaning up and vacuuming so no nite duty for him tonite.. I can tell mommy is pretty apprehensive about taking care of me all by herself in the night coz she wants to sleep! Well, I'll let u all know how tonite went for her! Ha Ha..

Yee Ma says we should take some photos of me staying @ her place.. Daddy, can bring your camera over tomoro nite and take some photos?? PLEASE??? :)

Off to the Pediatrician we go!!

Daddy and mommy decided that enough is enough after 2 weeks of my stuffy nose and sleepless nites and we went to see the pediatrician on Monday morning!!!

Turns out I have a viral infection and my nose is sooo blocked up that's why I have a hard time sleeping at nite... Sigh... After some advice from the ped, I got my nose sprayed with a sea water spray and when daddy cleaned my nose after, lo and behold!!! Out came lotsa mucous!! Strange to see 2 adults looking so happy at something is quite disgusting yah!! Although I have to be monitored this few days to see if I get any better, mommy is really relieved to know wat's finally wrong with me (they tot I had too much gas!!!)

Btw, my dearest daddy oso went to see the doctor on the same day!! Turns out he oso has a viral infection... Hmm.. I wonder who passed the virus.. Me or dad??

On a lighter note, I now look totally different BECAUSE I GOT MY HAIR SHAVED!!! Yess... I m now BOTAK boy and my silly mom who decided to get me shaved so my hair will grow out evenly keeps lamenting how much like a monk I look and she misses all my lovely thick hair (not so thick lately though.. kekeke)

I slept through my shave @ Junior League and only started screaming when the deed was done... Coz it felt kinda light and cold, if u know wat I mean??

On another totally different note, mommy got an sms from my beloved Yee Ma who wrote that Timmy still misses me lots lots in Oz and keeps calling my name!!! Well, that's my favourite cousin for you!!! Now, his female cousin Phoebe (who is Yee Cheong's brother's daughter) also calls out my name too!! WAHAHAHAHA... And i have not even met her yet!!! Is that super cute or what?

And timmy is now on his way home.. Should be on the airplane by now and coming back.. Yeah and we will get to meet up really soon... But now its time for my nap again!!! Babies sure need lotsa sleep!!!

I miss my cousin Timmy gor gor!!! :( He's flown off to Ozzieland for his holidays and I miss him sooo much!!!

He misses me too I bet coz Yee Ma always tells mommy over the phone how Timmy gor gor will keep calling out my name, "Nat Nat" in what mommy terms as his incredibly cutsey voice!!! One time, he even called out my name in his sleep!!! hahaha...

And guess wat, as proof of how much he loves me, he even took off his pacifier and offered it to me last Sunday when we all went out for dinner... Isn't that ABSOLUTELY sweet of him??? (coz our pacifiers are sooooo important to us babies yah)...

Timmy gor gor, when are u coming back??? I MISS YOU!

P/S: yeah, i know i have been really tardy with posting and pictures but I do need my sleep and daddy is so busy taking care of me and doing housework he can hardly take any pictures of me... Hopefully he will b able to take some pics of me sooooon ;p

I'm a milk monster!!!

Now that I am getting quite familiar with my surroundings and my parents, mommy says my true colors are coming out!!!

Mommy: "YES!!! This little boy screams at the top of his lungs when he wants something and he wants it now!!!" *exasperated*

Nat Nat : "How else will i ever get what I want around here?" *GRINZ*

I have been driving mommy and daddy crazy with my recent need to drink all the time! Mommy can feed me for over an hour and yet, I will cry and cry if she even attempts to put me to bed! Out of desparation, mommy called daddy @ work and begged him to buy a pacifier ( Pls note that its mommy who did not want to get a pacifier in the first place!! muahahaha) since I was becoming such a MILK MONSTER when I did not need any...

Mommy, I am a baby wat.. As such, I have a need to suckle.. Just ask any baby out there!!!

From then on, we are 2 much happier people although my poor dad has to suffer a little now whilst I learn to suck on pacifier, coz I keep spitting it out, and of course, that makes me DEMAND my pacifier straight away with the only way I know how.. Poor daddy (mommy made me put the "poor daddy" in, though I do think its my right to get what I want and thats what parents are supposed to do!) has to keep getting up every couple of minutes to put it back in my mouth if I do wake up and find it missing!

So since I don't drink for such a long time now, I'm not such a milk monster after all? tee hee heee

P/S: Daddy's leg has been painful so he did not have the energy to take any nice photos. Will bug him to do that so I can post some new ones soon!!! Daddy, get better soon okies!!

It's been a week :)

It's been a week and life has been pretty good. I just sleep, drink, get waited upon by my parents, and sleep some more again.. Kekeke...

But mom and dad have been pretty stressed out with me the first 2 nites I suppose!!! It feels really strange to be able to move my arms and legs freely and lying flat down when I have been curled up with so little space previously! And then, the temperature out in this world is pretty cold... Though dad does a fantastic job of making me feel secure by wrapping me up snugly each time!!! Still it takes me a while to adapt, so forgive me mommy and daddy for those sleepless nites. heeeee....

Although in my opinion, its tough for a little guy like me to work so hard at drinking my milk and trying to get used to this new environment.. I wonder who has it easier??? (bet my parents say I m the lucky one!!! ha)

One week it has been indeed and on Friday morning, I got a nice long car ride to the hospital so that mom can get her wound re-dressed at the gynae... Had another nice ride in the afternoon for me to see the pediatrician and though I kinda screamed at the indignity of being undressed in front of a stranger, I got a clean bill of health and no signs of jaundice :) (watever, that is)

And oh yah, I saw my doggy!!! or rather mom's precious doggy (hmm, but now I m more precious!!!!)... She was more interested in me than mommy though .. wahahah.. which kinda made mommy a bit pissed coz it has been a loooong time since she got to see and pet her doggy...

Oh well, that was the only time I got to see Patches coz Daddy got a bit mad at her for jumping all the time to get a sniff of sweet smelling me... But mommy has promised to bring us out for walks when she gets better and the confinement month is over.. I can't wait!!!

Hallo everyone!! After almost 10 months of waiting from Mommy and Daddy, I have finally arrived to meet them on 20.10.2006 @ 6.26pm.

Heee, I was supposed to come out on 24th October but since my parents decided to induce me earlier, I am not gonna give mom an easy time wahahaha... After about 11 hours of induced labour and I showed no signs of wanting to come out, I was pulled out from mommy's tummy instead.. They call this a C-section, i tink!

Apparently, I was so relunctant to come out that I was holding the umbillical cord real tight when the doctor pulled me out, and of course, I screamed lustily as that was my only toy for 10 whole months!!! And why was I being removed from my comfy surroundings??

But hey, its not that bad being out in this world after all.. I get pampered with lotsa love and attention from everyone who sees me and since this is a blog TOTALLY about me, you'll get to read about my growth progress and my life with my new dad and mom!

Yawn... I'm feeling sleepy after this blog oredi. Back to bed for me. In the meantime, enjoy the pics that daddy took of me! (He takes so many I can hear his camera clicking away in my sleep!!! Timmy gor gor, I heard from mom that it kinda happened to you too eh...well, now its my turn!!!)
