My cutsey smile

I have learnt learnt what it means to smile and my dear mommy keeps asking me to smile for her over this weekend.

I make her happy so I smile smile for her. Don't I look cute when I smile? =p

my school is moving!

My school (infant care centre) has found a home at last and it's in a very nicey nicey and big bungalow at Li Hwan View. This is a 5 minute drive from our house and also within walking distance from Mommy's work place at the New Tech Park!

We have not moved yet but there was an open house last Sat for all the daddys and mommys to take a look at the place and decide if they want to move their children from our current location. I am definitely going to be moved! HURRRAY!!! =)

I am going to have a looong weekend this week because Friday is a public holiday and that means daddy and mommy will be spending it with me. It is Good Friday, which is the day that my Jesus died on the cross so that we can go to heaven and have our sins washed away.

I am learning about Jesus everyday now as Daddy or Mommy will pray with me before bedtime and I go to Sunday School every Sunday now. We sing songs songs, have story telling and activity like coloring. My favourite part is to sing sing songs and one of the songs we sing is this:

"Into my heart, into my heart,

Come into my heart, Lord Jesus.

Come in today, come in to stay.

Come into my heart Lord Jesus. Amen"

I love Jesus and I hope you get to know Him too. Have a happy Good Friday and Easter!

My fun fun weekyend!

Yes, I can finally talk about my fun fun fun weekyend!

I went to the Botanical Gardens on Saturday morning, and also the Jacob Ballas Garden for children. I loved both places!

Look at these pigeons. They go cooo cooo cooo..

And here is me me looking out for the red dragonfly. It is really pretty and kept flying around the pond.

A little turtle popping his head out of the water. We saw lots of turtles! And big fishes too. Silly parents forgot to bring some bread for me to feed them. Remember the bread bread next time okie okie, daddy and mommy!Hey, I spotted SOMETHING!!!

A lovely lovely swan swimming in the lake. Daddy kept making funny noises so it will swim toward us. He went "orhhh orrhhh orrrhh" and I did the same! Mommy also joined in! Kee Kee Kee...It was soon lunch time after our fun fun time at the lake lake looking at the turtles, fishies and the swan. We went to the food court for our lunch. I was getting sleepy by then. But we headed down to the Jacob Ballas Garden just so I could still have a little fun before taking my nap!

When I saw the water play, I didn't need my nap anymore! I wanted to play play and get wet!

Just another day of fun in school

I wanted to write write about my fun fun weekend but daddy forgot his small little hard disk which stores all my photos in it so I'll have to do that another day! =p

Anyways, we are learning the words "BIG" and "small" today...

My report card today.. Heeee

My teachers email mommy very often to let her and daddy know what I do in school and how I am. Today, I got a very good report from them and I am going to share their comments to mommy and daddy! They are both very proud proud of me. =D That makes me happy happy too!!!

My teachers' report to mommy and daddy today!
"Nat is always attentive and responsive when activities are carried out. He enjoys playing among his little friends.

He tried to imitate the word 'mirror' during our activity today. He also enjoys songs and rhymes times and will be partcipative.

His walking is improving well. He is also pretty good with his fine motor skill.

His nature and mannerism is so commendable. Everyone cannot help but loves and enjoys him so much!"

Note from mommy: Yes we are very proud of Nat Nat! He's such a chirpy lil kid and he brings great joy to people he meet from all walks of life. He can charm the waitress at restaurants, taxi drivers, bus drivers when they drive pass our house and some of them will smile at him, even the security guard at my work place who now ask me about our dear boy after seeing him once! Our little charmer boy!!!! These reports from his teachers every week brighten our days. Praise God for our Nat Nat! =)

Fever

Me having fever since last night... :( I hope the fever goes away soon...

Mommy says this is normal because I went for my MMR injection which is to prevent the Measles, Mumps and Rubella diseases.. I have no idea what they are but I must take them.

So now my body is building up the antibodies against these diseases.. Again I dunno what this means.. I only know I do not likey it at all...

Next month I have to take my Chickenpox vaccination, life is tough for little kids!!!

Some updates on my development! It's been some time since my last update as I have been very very busy!

1. I can walk very steadily now and I like to walk walk walk! I started my first steps by myself exactly on my 16th month birthday which was the 20th February 2008.
2. I can say many many words now, even chinese words! I can also say 2 words at one time like "mommy read", "read book" "no more", "pet pet baby", etc
3. I have 8 teeth now. And more to come!
4. I can shake my head to mean "No" and I can nod my head if I mean "Yes"
5. I know the sounds made by some animals and I can do them to! I "ROAR" like a lion, go "woof woof" like a dog, "quack quack" like a duck, "meow meow" like a cat cat, "hoo hoo" like an owl, "mooo moooo moooo" like a cow. I also can imitate a kookabura and it goes Ha Ha Ha! =p
