Updates from the mommy

In a blink of the eye, Nathanael has turned 1 1/2 years old, a fully qualified toddler! He has just "graduated" from infant group to the toddler group (Tots class in short) in his child care.

Nat has been progressing very rapidly since his first year birthday and now our dear boy is walking everywhere (big sigh of relief coz he only started walking at 15 months which seemed very slow compared to his peers in childcare!), talking lots and starting to tell me "NO" and "I DON't WANT"!

It's been a real joy and blessing indeed to chart his progress. He can understand simple instructions and respond in kind. He likes to help out around the house, such as throwing his diaper in the waste basket, keeping his powder or lotion on the table, putting the cap back on his milk bottle after finishing his milk, and even helping me to keep his clothes in the cupboard or to pack them in his bag to bring to school.

I look back and wonder at how the time has flown by. When he was a wee little baby who needed constant attention, I would think and ponder when he will be like his cousins who can walk and talk and play independently. Lo and behold, he is now doing all that and it's quite amazing to see him grow.

I'll continue to ask the Lord for guidance on how to bring this precious one up. Of course, as a parent, I do worry about the future for him, if he will grow up to be a good Christian or a rebellious ruffian! (Ha Ha Ha). But I must remember to always trust in the Lord and also entrust Nat into His hands. It warms my heart each night when we pray before Nat sleeps and he will say Amen after our prayer (sometimes even when I have not finished! LOL), and he really enjoys his sunday school worship sessions.

I feel especially blessed that he will have this chance to learn about the Lord at a tender young age.

Okie more about him now, Nat is now settling down well in his Tots class and his child care now is located at Li Hwan, as previously mentioned before.

Here are some pictures of him at Li Hwan:
